(2002) p. 167.  Watched a video about immigration in Canada and completed a video worksheet.  Reviewed page 168 looking at demographics and workforce.  Watched a video about population pyramids, and looked at Canada's historical population pyramid. For homework, students are to read pages 169-170.

Social Studies 9G  - Reviewed pages 169-170 about the point system for economic immigrants. Students completed the activity where they acted as immigration agents and evaluated the criteria used for the point system. For homework, students are to read the article regarding the Family class category of immigration.
