Social Studies 9B -  Reviewed page 168 looking at demographics and workforce.  Watched a video about population pyramids, and looked at Canada's historical population pyramid. Reviewed pages 169-170 about the point system for economic immigrants. Students completed the activity where they acted as immigration agents and evaluated the criteria used for the point system.


Social Studies 9E - Reviewed pages 169-170 about the point system for economic immigrants. Students completed the activity where they acted as immigration agents and evaluated the criteria used for the point system.  For homework, students are to read the article regarding the Family class category of immigration.

Social Studies 9G  - Reviewed the article regarding the Family class category of immigration.  Discussed article, and students read a response article.  Discussed the use of statistical evidence versus anecdotal evidence.
