Social Studies 7E - Students handed in their current events worksheet today.  Students wrote the Chapter 4 exam today.

Social Studies 9A  -   Reviewed the current events worksheet about the Huawei CFO.  Reviewed the questions on the reverse side of the chart.  Watched a video about the War Measures Act in the 1970's.

Social Studies 7E -  Watched a video about the importance of the Beaver Pelt to the fur trade in Canada.  Read pages 75 & 77.  Handed out the ch. 4 booklet.  Students had class time to complete pages 1-3 (up to and including question #6 on page 3) (omit the vocab on page 2).

Social Studies 9A  -   Reviewed worksheet about juries from last day.  The class completed a group activity outlining how trials/juries are fair and equitable for offenders.  Introduced Advocacy groups on pages 82-85; students are to complete the questions on page 2 of the handout: "II.
