Social Studies 8A  - Students had class time to work on the "Interpreting a drawing" assignment. (Due: Wednesday, Feb. 19th)

Social Studies 8D  -  Students worked to write a museum placard.  Peer reviewed placard to check for a balanced perspective. Students had class time to work on the "Interpreting a drawing" assignment. (Due: Wednesday, Feb. 19th)

Social Studies 8E -  No class today. Discussed a balanced perspective. Students created a title and a museum placard for a sample drawing. This should be completed for next class. 

Social Studies 9E - Began to discuss Refugees as immigrants p. 172-177.  Watched several videos about refugees.  Began to watch a video about Romas challenging the immigration process.

Social Studies 9G - Reviewed page 172.  Students received instruction about how to annotate notes.  Students were to read the article "The Chosen Ones - A History of Selective Immigration", and make annotations.  (Will review this next class),  Reviewed pages 172-177, and watched several videos about refugees.
