Social Studies 7E - Read aloud pages 32-35.  Handed out the ch. 2 booklet.  Students should do the vocabulary words: colony, empire, and imperialism (students may finish them after the exam tomorrow).  ***Chapter one exam on Wednesday, October 17***.

 Social Studies 9A  -   Reviewed the colouring diagrams of FPTP HoC seats, and Popular Vote HoC seats.  Looked at the positives and negatives of FPTP and Popular Vote.  Looked at unique outcomes for FPTP elections in the past. Students took notes and read about the senate (p. 31, 33). For homework, students are to complete the questions in the booklet up to and including question #36.
