Social Studies 8A   - No class today

Social Studies 8D -- Reviewed pages 48-52.  Students took notes.  For homework: students are to finish reading page 52, and do the vocabulary words up to page 52.

Social Studies 8E - - Reviewed pages 48-52.  Students took notes.  Watched a video about manuscripts.  Students are to complete the video analysis for next class.  For homework: students are to finish reading page 52.

Social Studies 9E - Discussed symbols of Justice.  Reviewed the comic.  For homework, students are to read page 64 and complete the venn diagram worksheet.  "I Can" statements given to students.  Students can begin the vocabulary words for chapter 2.  Returned ch. 1 exam.

Social Studies 9G - Began looking at p. 56 in textbook.  Gave definitions for vocab. on p. 56.  Discussed concepts of "Fair and Equitable".  Completed "What is Justice" woksheet - good discussion afterwards. For homework, students are to read 56-57, 60-63. Returned Ch. 1 exam.
