 Social Studies 9A -Reviewed the material on p. 168.  Discussed demographics, workforce.   Looked at a graph showing birth and death rates.  Watched a video about population pyramids. Students read about the (economic) points system on pages 169-170.  Reviewed the factors as a class.  Students then worked as immigration officers to evaluate potential immigrants based on the ranking system.
