Social Studies 8C - Reviewed the worksheet on the Ainu. Read pages 170-171.  For homework, students are to read page 172; students should work on chapters 1-2 of the study guide.

Social Studies 8E  - Watched videos about making a Katana sword and the Ainu.  Completed a worksheet about the Ainu in class.  For homework, students are to read pages 170-172 and complete the worksheet.

Social Studies 9B -  No class today. Reviewed the political spectrum (p. 286-288).   Students completed the worksheet "Where do these viewpoints fall?" and "Positioning Statements on the Political Spectrum".

Social Studies 9D  -    Reviewed the underground economy, taxation rates, and expenditures ( p. 282-283. Looked at the political spectrum (p. 286-288).   For homework, students are to complete the worksheet "Where do these viewpoints fall?" and "Positioning Statements on the Political Spectrum". Students should complete Chapters 1 & 2 of the study guide.
