Social Studies 8C -  Finished reading about Scholars and Philosophers on page 59.  Students worked in partners to make summary notes.  Handed out Chapter 2 Vocabulary (students should finish this on their own time) next week. Watched a video about Renaissance Art, Music, and Literature.  Will finish reviewing the video recap sheet next class.

Social Studies 8E  -  NO CLASS TODAY. Students handed in the Printing Press worksheet. Began to read about Scholars and Philosophers on pages 57-59.  Students made summary notes.

Social Studies 9B - Reviewed the cartoon analysis worksheet. Read about juries on pages 78-79.  For homework, students are to read pages 80-81 and complete the handout sheet up to item II. Advocacy groups.

Social Studies 9D  -  Reviewed the cartoon analysis worksheet. For homework, students are to complete the (formative) worksheet: "Examining an Editorial Cartoon".
