Social Studies 8C -  Students handed in the worksheet. "How can I write a powerful questions? and the  Formative Assessment  - Inquiry worksheet about planning a research project. Students took notes on the beginnings of City States.  Discussed "urbanization".  Students worked in partners to analyze the painting on page 30.

 Social Studies 8E  - Reviewed the worksheet "How can I write a powerful question". the  Formative Assessment  - Inquiry worksheet about planning a research project. Students had time to work on worksheet.  Both worksheets are due tomorrow.

 Social Studies 9B - Students wrote an assessment about how bills are passed.  Reviewed the Media worksheet. For next class, we will review questions 37-53.  Students are to read the article about election dates, and complete the questions on the other side.

 Social Studies 9D  - NO CLASS TODAY. Reviewed questions 37-53.  Read pages 46-47. Watched several videos to analyze media.  For next class, students are to complete the "Media" worksheet, and complete questions 50-62 in the student handout.
