Social Studies 8E -    Read aloud pages 234-235 - "Tenochtitlan, The City of Tenoch".  Students took summary notes for these pages.  Reviewed the chapter 3 exam.

Social Studies 9B  - Reviewed the material on pages 143-144. Reviewed more legislation about minority language rights.  Handed out the worksheet " Social 9:  Collective Rights (Language Groups).  As a class, we used the timeline information on p. 145 to complete the first 4 boxes on the worksheet.  For homework, students are to complete the boxes for: "1969 Official Languages Act".
